Social Media Guru (1 or 2 positions)
We want to really make a solid presence on social media. Right now we have facebook and a blog. If you think you can really help us gain more interest via social media, let us know. Send in a CV.
Staff Writer (1 or 2 positions)
We can’t pay, but this could nicely pad your writing resume. You will be expected to pitch stories to the editor and write them up, if they’re given the go-ahead. Check out the blog to be sure that you want to write for us and send us a CV.
Comic Artist (1 position)
We love a good comic mixed in with articles. We are looking for one (or possibly two) comics (one to three panels long) for each Quarterly. Please send five samples (or a link to your deviantart/etc) along with a CV.
Marketing God (1 position)
If you want to help spread the word and be the go-to person for the Quarterly, please let us know. The editor can only do so much, right? Send some kind of message to us on how you could help us market the APN Quarterly and a CV.
We are just getting started with the Quarterly. If we could pay you, we would. Right now, all jobs are voluntary. We are looking for those people who LOVE the paranormal, strange news stories, weird history, true crime, etc that’s Alaska-related.
