Hi, Haven't seen Big foot, but had what I thought was a Bigfoot experience on Elmendorf in 1992ish. We were performing a military exercise on the "back side" of the base. It was supposed to be a week in the woods doing our exercise, basically war games with laser weapons back then. We had fox holes that we stayed in on shifts, between getting actual sleep in a tent. Anyway, sometimes our foxholes were unmanned while we practiced patrols in the woods. There were several times where we got back and we thought bears had been to our fox holes and destroyed equipment and stuff...this was during the day and night. Anyway, we'd get back and several people would return to shredded arctic gear, sleeping bags, destroyed stoves, etcetera...this kept on so much that they ended our exercise early. The last night was just six of us watching our equipment during the night while everybody else rested at the base camp. I of course volunteered to stay and watch the gear. That night we heard something very heavy on two legs running through the woods about 100 feet away from us, we all heard it, and we were all pretty freaked out! We had no problems staying up all night guarding stuff ater that adrenaline rush. There were no signs of bears or anything, and we never saw bear scat on our patrols...it was very strange indeed. The weird thing is that our officers in command canceled that exercise early because of all the weirdness...I still wonder if they knew something we didnt! What fun though:)

That is awesome! I'd be excited and scared all at the same time if that was me. I have to admit that it wouldn't surprise me if there were bigfoot in that area. Tons of food sources, lots of areas to hide...
Did you hear any knocking sounds or howling?
