We suggest that you wear warm, comfortable clothing. There is plenty of parking at the swim beach, but there is a no dogs allowed policy (see website). Bring any equipment you want. Bring coffee, snacks, etc. There are trash bins and outhouses at the recreation area.
If you want to listen to something on the radio, we suggest Coast to Coast AM (970 AM, starting at 9PM)
