I am in favor of collecting documentation and publishing cases. If paranormal research is ever to be taken seriously we need to build a foundation of collected data.

If cases aren't documented, then proving the existence of ghosts or other phenomenon can't ever happen. You need documented proof to show people. Also, by documenting you may notice a trend, like a particular time events tend to occur, locations near ley lines or running water, areas of traumatic events. When enough data is gathered, you might even be able to predict where you might find new unreported anomalies.
