I would like to put together a Paranormal Conference in Fairbanks this summer. I am looking for anyone who might be interested in helping out or being a lecturer/demonstrator/etc. Here are some things we would need to figure out: - Costs (location, tickets, etc)
- Conference Guests (lecturers, demonstrators, etc)
- Advertising (locally, state-wide, social media, etc)
- Activities (Conference related activities)

I think it would be pretty cool to have a special guest lecturer come up from the states. Here's my list of who I would like to see: I'm not sure what it would cost to bring someone up from the states, but having a guest lecturer of this caliber would really raise attendance.

I'd be interested in helping to put something like this together, I think it would be pretty expensive though. I think if you could get someone "hot" like David Paullides to attend it might be able to pay for itself though.

I'm wondering if it would even be worth it. I think there are a lot of people interested in the subject matter. I just wonder about attendance and stuff.

Maybe hold it in Sept? Later in the season After the big summer rush? I wonder if we can do some sort of poll that could give us an idea of attendance and how much people would be willing to pay? To get a general idea. I imagine it would be cost prohibitive for a lot of vendors to travel up here.
If we did it later in the year though, we might be able to get a discount on the venue.

The Whole Life Festival is going on in Anchorage in September. Perhaps we should push people to attend that. We used to have it up in Fairbanks, but I think attendance was low.
