Lost City of Gold - During the goldrush, miners told legends of an Alaskan city of gold that was hidden away in a remote mountainous valley.
Calling Charlie - In Fairbanks, at the Pioneer Park Civic Center, there are rumors that you can call up the local ghost Charlie (a former employee). Most people say that you have to call out his name 3 times before you’ll hear or see anything.
Ancient Pyramid - Supposedly lying west of Mt.McKinley there is an ancient pyramid almost entirely buried. Rumor has it that the top portion is protruding from the earth.
Man in Black at Devils Creek - If you’re around Talkeetna, near the Susitna River, you may just find Devils Creek. Beware if you meet a man in black. He’s pure evil and haunts Devils Creek.
Monsterous Bears - If you listen to hunters, hikers, forest rangers, and other people who spend a lot of time outside, you’re going to hear about giant bears. One forest worker claimed to have shot a bear that was 1600 lbs and stood a whopping 15 ft high.
Land Before Time - An old urban legend that’s been floating around the state is of an area that time seems to have forgotten. Multiple hot springs flow in the area and prehistoric critters still roam around. Could pterydactyls be the culprits behind thunderbird sightings?
UFO Watching on Dynamite Hill - If you head south from Fairbanks, down to Salcha, take a left onto Johnson Road and go up to Dynamite Hill. From there you can watch UFOs landing on Eielson AFB land.
