Sixtymile Gold Dredge was an old gold camp situated along the Sixtymile River, specifically along the old Sixtymile River trail, not easy to come by. While the old camp was left to become shambles in nature, the old dredge was torn apart and shipped down to Skagway in 1999 where it was reassembled as part of their Klondike Goldrush Tour. Along a hill that faces the river is a gravesite where strange occurrences have been known to occur. Much of the area has been mined. In the past, miners tried to mine near the gravesite but with poor outcomes. Persons who lived in the nearby cabin, or camped out were terrorized by a ghost, apparently angry at disturbance. Things have been knocked over in the cabin. Tools are taken, supplied knocked over in tents. When visitors come to look at the grave, persons are greatly sad and get sick on occasion, and feel cold. Most that know about the grave stay very clear of it now. Large tailings have been built up around it to keep anyone from getting near it.
