I was in Nenana Friday and Saturday and heard about a lady who, years ago, found a baby bigfoot and raised it. The lady who told me the brief story couldn't remember all of the details and told me to come back during the week to talk to the guy who knew all about it.
Has anyone heard of similar stories?

Here's the story on the bigfoot child. Around 1860, a lady from Nenana was out in copper center (the Copper River area) in the winter. She found a bigfoot child alone and freezing to death. She intended on killing it, but couldn't bring herself to do that. Instead she brought it inside and fed it, let it live there. When it warmed up, she returned to Nenana with this bigfoot child. She raised it and it lived with her. Apparently it spoke a little bit and fit in with tribal life. When the lady passed away, the bigfoot just left and wasn't seen again.
